Actor

Anthia Gillick is an award-winning actor, screenplay writer, and producer who is passionate about bringing messages of consciousness to all aspects of her art and life.

On the big screen, 2 of her 6 feature films have toured international film festivals and been nominated for/won multiple awards. On the small screen, Anthia has been cast in multiple series regular roles and several guest-star/co-star roles including being cast as Natalie Dormer’s double on “Penny Dreadful: City of Angels”. Her debut writing/producing feature film, “Ever in The Next” is fully-funded and being optioned to Sony.

After surviving her father’s death and 2.5 years in a controversial, cult-like organization, Anthia took a hard look at her life and realized she didn’t want to just live, she wanted to thrive. Visual storytelling is her way of encouraging people to develop their own unique skillset for facing life’s hard truths and unfathomable joys head on and coming out on top. We all must do our part, reach across the void, and help each other realize that we are all in this life together. No matter your circumstances, you are never alone, never trapped. Connection, honesty and collaboration are always the ways to freedom.

Author

Anthia’s book, Living Conscious in an Unconscious World, the original adaptation of her screenplay, is an anecdotal auto-biography and teaching memoir of her journey into and back out of darkness. She hopes that by sharing her tools, you too can learn that freedom is of your own making.

Anthia believes that we can re-write our story, find deep joy, and completely change our future if given the right set of tools and the right amount of follow through.  Anthia is also a life-coach and Theta Healer and has not only seen these changes in herself, but in countless others. She hopes her book will help guide you to your destiny: happiness.

Aerialist

Finally, Anthia is also an aerialist. Circus arts seem like an impossible feat, but when people conquer their fear and gain the physical strength to lift their body weight, dramatic jumps in self-confidence occur. From there, the sky’s the limit on what we believe we can achieve.

Seeing these transformations, Anthia was driven to help people love themselves more fully through empowering them to fly. The best way she discovered to do so was to found an aerial circus training studio in San Francisco, called Aspen Aerials, in 2011.

Anthia is currently on a hiatus from managing studios, but hopes to open a new one on the west side of Los Angeles soon. Check back and stay posted. And in the mean time, she is happy to perform for film.
